Kupra Logistics

For inland shipping on the Danube, Sava and Tisza

Your whole fleet on one screen

Kupra Logistics is the operating system for river fleets. The crew files from a phone, the office sees it the same second — no messages for someone to retype, no notebook, no folder full of certificates.

How it works today

The data already exists. It just isn't in one place.

Every fleet already collects everything it needs. The trouble is that it lives in messages, notebooks and people's heads — so getting an answer means picking up the phone.

01

A report that arrives as a text message

Five vessels send position, fuel and engine hours — one in the morning, another when it gets round to it, a third not until the evening. Someone copies it into a spreadsheet, if they find the time. By month end nobody knows what any vessel actually burned.

02

Handover on paper

A captain rotates off, fills in the form, photographs it. The paper ends up in a folder, the photo in a camera roll, and the certificate expiry date copied out that day — nowhere.

03

A certificate that expired yesterday

Twenty-one documents per vessel, each with its own deadline. On paper, tracking that means somebody remembering to look.

04

A requisition that goes missing

A vessel asks for oil and filters. The storekeeper issues them from memory, stock is never decremented, and next time nobody knows what is actually on the shelf.

Kupra Logistics takes each of those forms and turns it into an entry in the app. Same job, same familiar fields — except the result stays in the system and the office sees it in seconds.

Two surfaces, one system

A phone on board. A console in the office.

Crew and office work on the same data, but not in the same app — because they are not doing the same job.

On board

One phone, one account

The vessel has its own account and its own device. No email address, no signing out, no password to remember. The crew opens the app and enters what they have always written on paper.

  • Installs from the website, no app store
  • Large fields and buttons, readable on deck
  • Dark at night, light during the day
  • Who is aboard is picked from a list, not typed
In the office

The whole fleet, live

The console shows the state of every vessel in real time. When a vessel files a report, it appears on the screen — no page refresh, no waiting.

  • Runs in the browser, on desktop and on phone
  • Filters by vessel and by period
  • Fuel consumption and engine-hour charts
  • Every document can be exported to PDF

Daily report

At any moment you know where your fleet is

Vessels file from a phone when the day allows, and the office receives it without refreshing the page. The vessel card flips to “Today” the moment the report lands — and the one that has not filed stays visible, which is in fact the most important thing on the screen.

  • Position, fuel, engine hours and lubricant
  • The card changes instantly, with no refresh
  • A vessel that has not filed is immediately obvious

On board

A form the crew fills in inside a minute

The same fields they have always written by hand, only larger and on a phone. No signing in, no hunting for a password, no need for a perfect connection. Who is aboard is picked from the list of people actually on the vessel.

  • No login — the device is already the vessel's account
  • Thumb-sized fields, readable in sun and at night
  • Dark in the evening, light through the day

Requisitions and warehouse

Goods come off stock the moment they are issued

The article catalogue and the stock list are the same list — because they are the same thing. The vessel orders from that catalogue, the storekeeper issues, and stock falls without a single extra entry. Articles running low separate themselves out.

  • One catalogue for requisitions and for the warehouse
  • Issuing decrements stock automatically
  • Filters for low stock and zero stock

Analytics and water levels

Consumption nobody has to calculate

The fuel level falls while under way and jumps when the tank is filled — the system reads that difference and derives consumption per vessel and per period. Alongside it, gauge readings from across Europe sit on the same screen.

  • Consumption from level drops; refuelling is not counted as cost
  • Vessels compared on one scale
  • Live water levels from the official European source

Roles

Everyone sees exactly their own job

Three kinds of account. What does not concern you, you do not see — which is why the app is simple even to someone opening it for the first time.

Vessel

One account, one phone

The account belongs to the vessel, not to a person. No email address and no signing out — crews rotate, the device stays signed in. The name is entered inside the form.

  • Reports, handovers and cargo
  • Requisitions and fault reports
  • Its own vessel's certificates

Office

The whole fleet

The account for the people running the fleet. Sees every vessel live, receives handovers, keeps certificates and service work, and has the full analytics.

  • Fleet overview and a page per vessel
  • Handovers, certificates, service
  • Analytics and PDF export

Storekeeper

The warehouse only

The account for whoever issues goods. Sees requisitions and the warehouse and nothing else — no reports, no certificates, no analytics.

  • Requisitions waiting to be issued
  • Stock levels and movement
  • Issuing decrements stock

Foundations

Built for a vessel, not adapted to one

The system was written from the start for work on the water, and for an office that has to trust the data.

Live, without refreshing

A report filed from a vessel appears in the office the same second. Nobody presses F5 and nobody is reading a stale page.

Your data is only yours

Each company is separated at the database level, not merely in the interface. One fleet's data is technically unreachable from another's.

Push notifications

The things that matter reach the phone even when the app is closed — an expiring certificate, a new requisition, a returned handover.

No app store

The app installs from the website onto Android and iPhone, and runs in the browser on a desktop. No store review, no waiting for an update.

Eight languages

Serbian, English, Bulgarian, Romanian, German, Hungarian, Slovak and French. The language is chosen in the app, per user.

PDF when paper is needed

Every document can be downloaded as a PDF — for an inspection, a signature or the archive. But the PDF is an output, not the way of working.

Live water levels

Readings from the European gauge network are pulled automatically, so the numbers on the screen are the official ones.

Works on a weak connection

The app is light and built for mobile internet on a river, not for an office fibre line.

Installing

The app on your phone, without an app store

Kupra Logistics is added to the home screen straight from the browser. It gets its own icon, opens full screen and behaves like any other app — except there is no download, no store review and no waiting for an update.

Android

  1. 1Open app.kupralogistics.rs in Chrome
  2. 2Tap the three-dot menu at the top right
  3. 3Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”
  4. 4Confirm — the icon appears alongside your other apps

iPhone and iPad

  1. 1Open app.kupralogistics.rs in Safari
  2. 2Tap the share button at the bottom of the screen
  3. 3Choose “Add to Home Screen”
  4. 4Confirm with “Add” — push notifications only work after this step
Open the app

Installing requires an account. Vessel accounts are created by the office, so the crew has nothing to remember.

Reference

A system already running on a fleet

Kupra Logistics is not a prototype. It grew out of one real shipping company's forms and is used on its vessels every day.

Lađar KupRa d.o.o.

Liquid cargo transport on inland waterways. Their paper forms — daily report, handover, certificates, requisitions — were the starting point for every module in the system.
