How it works

From the first conversation to a fleet without paper

Rolling this out does not take months and does not require somebody at your company to become “the system person”. Here is what it actually looks like.

  1. 1

    Conversation and walkthrough

We show the system against your numbers — how many vessels, how many people, which forms get filled in today. That conversation makes it clear where it is smartest to start, even though every module is available from day one.

  2. 2

    Setting up the fleet

We enter the vessels, the vessel types and the certificate list that matches your company. Accounts are created for the office, for the storekeeper, and one for each vessel.

  3. 3

    Phones on board

On each vessel the app is installed on one phone and that device stays signed in. The crew is given no password and has nothing to remember.

  4. 4

    The first month in parallel

For the first few weeks the crew works both the old way and in the app, until the habit forms. After that the paper falls away on its own — because entering it in the app is faster.

  5. 5

    The office takes over

Once data starts arriving, the office stops phoning the vessels. Analytics, certificates and the warehouse fill themselves from everyday work.

Installing

The app on your phone, without an app store

Kupra Logistics is added to the home screen straight from the browser. It gets its own icon, opens full screen and behaves like any other app — except there is no download, no store review and no waiting for an update.

Android

  1. 1Open app.kupralogistics.rs in Chrome
  2. 2Tap the three-dot menu at the top right
  3. 3Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”
  4. 4Confirm — the icon appears alongside your other apps

iPhone and iPad

  1. 1Open app.kupralogistics.rs in Safari
  2. 2Tap the share button at the bottom of the screen
  3. 3Choose “Add to Home Screen”
  4. 4Confirm with “Add” — push notifications only work after this step
Open the app

Installing requires an account. Vessel accounts are created by the office, so the crew has nothing to remember.

Common questions

What if the crew isn't comfortable with phones?

That is exactly why a vessel has no email account and no password. The device is already signed in, the app opens with one tap, and the fields are large and the same ones they have always filled in on paper. Who is aboard is picked from a list, not typed.

What happens when there is no signal?

The app is light and works on mobile internet on the river. If the connection drops, the entry is repeated when the signal returns — and vessels on European waterways generally have coverage.

Do we have to use every module at once?

Every module is there from day one — nothing is locked and nothing is billed separately. In practice most fleets first settle into the daily report and certificates, because that is where the effect shows in the first week, and the warehouse and analytics start to matter once the data is already arriving.

Can we still get paper when we need it?

Every document can be downloaded as a PDF — for an inspection, a signature or the archive. The difference is that paper is no longer where the data lives; it is only a printout.

What language does the app run in?

Serbian, English, Bulgarian, Romanian, German, Hungarian, Slovak and French. The language is set per user, so a captain and the office can work in different languages on the same data.

Who can see our data?

Only your accounts. Each company is separated at the database level, not merely in the interface — one fleet's data is technically unreachable from another's.
